James is an Application Consultant with nearly five years on the Unit4 platform and more than a decade in local-government HR, specialising in data migration, reporting and post go-live support for HR and Payroll.

James is an Application Consultant at Vision ERP, which he joined in 2022, and has worked with Unit4 ERP, formerly Agresso, for nearly five years. His focus spans data migration, hierarchy management, system implementation and post go-live operational support for HR and Payroll. He recently worked on a Unit4 ERP implementation for a combined local-authority shared service delivering payroll for over 45,000 resources across a range of legal entities.

James brings more than ten years' experience in local-government HR, covering the development of management-information dashboards, job evaluation and support for the harmonisation of terms and conditions. Before Vision ERP, he spent several years with the Cheshire East and Cheshire West & Chester Councils' shared service, most recently as Governance and Functional Support Lead for HR and Payroll, where he led operational Unit4 ERP support, managed a small team, and handled TUPE transfers, hierarchy management, reporting and data migration. Accredited across Record-to-Report, HR, Payroll and Reporting, he combines strong report-writing and system-administration skills with an analytical, problem-solving approach. He holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Biology.
