Ryan is an Application Consultant specialising in HR and Payroll for Unit4 Business World and Agresso, bringing deep, hands-on payroll expertise and a string of CIPP qualifications to every implementation.

Ryan is an Application Consultant at Vision ERP, which he joined in 2022, working with Unit4 Business World and Agresso on HR and Payroll. He works through statements of work to capture requirements, creates HR and Payroll build plans, and supports clients through user acceptance testing, defect resolution, payroll implementation and parallel runs. His work also covers absence setup and customisation, reporting, best-practice advice and post go-live support. From 2022 to 2023 he was the Oracle/MBOS payroll specialist on the East Sussex County Council project.

Ryan's background is firmly rooted in payroll: as a former Payroll Bureau Manager he has managed multiple payrolls and bureaus, including implementing a new payroll system end to end, from mapping processes with the software provider through parallel runs and defect resolution to go-live and ongoing management. Earlier, at AF Blakemore, he was Senior Payroll Specialist responsible for the Blakemore Retail payroll of 4,300 employees and a bureau service supporting more than 80 clients, having built up around eight years' payroll experience. His qualifications include the CIPP Payroll Management Degree, CIPP Payroll Practitioner, a Level 3 Diploma in Payroll and an NVQ Level 2 in Payroll Administration.
